Price Policy

Starting from September 2025, Environmental Research and Technology will implement a submission fee policy. Since its foundation, the journal has operated without charging authors, sustained by institutional and voluntary support. However, in order to maintain high editorial standards, ensure sustainable operations, improve visibility through indexing, and provide better services to authors and readers, introducing a submission fee has become necessary. This change will enable us to cover essential costs such as manuscript handling, editorial processes, digital archiving, and long-term accessibility, while continuing our mission to disseminate high-quality scientific knowledge.

The submission fee is not subject to the acceptance-rejection condition, is requested to cover the costs incurred during the process, and is not taken for profit. Paying a fee does not mean that the article will be accepted and does not increase the chances of acceptance. The article submission fee received before the evaluation within the framework of the UAK statement indicates that the journal is not in the category of predatory journals, and there are no limiting barriers to the use of published articles for UAK applications.

Please wait for the Editorial Office Confirmation before making the payment after the following steps:

- After the article submission process is completed, a Technical Check process will be applied for the manuscript in terms of the content and the format.
- The manuscript will be Desk Rejected if the content is not suitable for the journal, or does not meet the quality requirements of the journal.
- The author(s) will be asked to make the payment if the manuscript passed the Technical Check Process before starting the review process.

Important Note

- Authors must wait for the Invoice, which will be sent by the Editorial Office to the corresponding author’s email address, before making any payment.
- The Submission Fee include all applicable taxes (e.g., 20% VAT) but Excluding deductions made by banks.
- For invoicing purposes, Paper ID must be included in the payment description field.
